Enriching Human Experience through the Arts
Putting art at the heart of a community enhances our lives and inspires us to think beyond the norm. Each artist expresses their feelings and creativity in unique ways. That is why it is so important to Livermore Valley Arts to feature artists, their work, and teaching at the both the Bankhead Theater Gallery and the Bothwelll Arts Center.
VISIONS OF SPRING
March 31 - May 29, 2022
Bankhead Theater Gallery
Thursdays - Sundays 1 pm - 5pm

An exhibit from the Diablo/Alameda branch of the National League of American Pen Women (NLAPW). The NLAPW are painters, sculptors, writers, journalists, musicians, dancers, choreographers, actors, directors, and creative women from many fields who build on their rich history and legacy of encouraging women to exchange ideas and foster creative growth.
The exuberance in the colors, media and expressions of the artworks is apparent, and reflect a heartfelt welcome to spring, renewal and emergence from the restrictions of the last few years.
Started as an association is 1897, The National League of American Pen Women, Inc. (NLAPW) is today a nonprofit organization that supports and promotes professional women in arts, letters, music, and allied professions. The NLAPW is the oldest women’s arts organization in the United States. Our goal is to evolve into a modern organization and spread our reach to new generations of women while continuing to build on their rich history and legacy. Mentoring, encouraging and promoting emerging professional women in the arts is an integral part of their mission.
